PAD Saint-Tropez 2026
The PAD fair launched a new summer edition – Saint Tropez. From July 2 to 5 the world’s leading design fair PAD took over the historic Maison Jean Despas in the heart of Saint-Tropez. In this emblematic setting, 20 French and international galleries presented a carefully curated selection of historic and contemporary design pieces, alongside artist jewelry. Among others Studio Szkło new glasses were displayed at Galerie Boketto.
Paris-based Galerie Boketto presented a curatorial proposition inspired by the French riviera. Staged inside a Mediterranean villa the display brought together nine contemporary artists from Poland, France, and the United States while paying homage to its roots with a Pagrù sofa designed in 1969 by Claudio Vagnoni for the Italian manufacturer 1P.
The contemporary pieces introduced a deliberate juxtaposition: raw material against refinement. Each piece complemented the villa's restraint while pressing gently against it, so the room read as a thoughtful composition where material contrast takes center stage.
